5 out of 5
My 4 and 5 and a half year old's are very competitive with everything they do. When my 5 year old started learning his ABC's, my youngest had to do the same. I realized after researching the benefits of starting children reading at a young age, and listening to my kids compete about who knew more letters and getting frustrated that they couldn't read, that it was time for them to learn. I found that there's one or two centers in the city that teach kids the basics of reading, but after learning about Reading In Preschool, I jumped at the chance for them to work with my kids. Liz from Reading In Preschool, comes 3 times a week to teach my kids and I can honestly say that I couldn't be happier. She's great with the kids, they are making rapid progress, she comes to my apartment which is one less headache not having to bring the boys on another subway ride; and her prices are great too! I can't imagine why a parent wouldn't want this for their kid. Little boys having fun reading? Who knew?
